Mission Objective

The REACH program is dedicated to closing healthcare gaps by bringing quality and affordable services directly to communities. 


                                          Duties and Responsibilities 

                               

PURPOSE

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the REACH Program, ensuring all activities are aligned with EHA Clinics' organizational priorities and the program's long-term sustainability goals.
  • Develop and drive innovative strategies for partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and membership growth that directly support program objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the REACH Management Team and key stakeholders on partnership development, relationship management, and business growth opportunities.
  • Support program goal achievement through effective planning, resource management, and continuous improvement of program systems and processes.
  • Establish and strengthen internal systems, processes, and initiatives that improve service uptake, expand membership, and deliver shared value to beneficiaries, partners, and the organization.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships across the public, private, and development sectors to enhance program reach, impact, and sustainability.
  • Ensure the REACH Program remains compliant with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and partnership commitments at all times.


                                   

ENGAGEMENT

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, healthcare providers, corporate organizations, development partners, community leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance REACH Program objectives.
  • Represent the REACH Program in stakeholder meetings, forums, community engagements, and partnership discussions, serving as the primary liaison between the program and external partners.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement through effective communication, negotiation, and relationship management to foster collaboration, strengthen partnerships, and maximize opportunities for program growth.
  • Lead the negotiation, development, and execution of partnership agreements — including MOUs, SLAs, and grant arrangements — ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective coordination and integrated delivery of partnership, outreach, and membership initiatives.
  • Provide strategic advice and support in business planning, resource allocation, performance management, and reporting to ensure partnership activities align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as an internal champion for the REACH Program, raising awareness of program priorities and securing cross-functional support for key initiatives.
  • Conduct authentic community engagement across Kano and Northern Nigeria, leveraging fluency in Hausa to build trust with local communities, traditional leaders, and government representatives.
  • Develop and deliver communications, outreach messaging, and community dialogues in both English and Hausa to ensure accessibility and cultural relevance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee community outreach activities, health promotion campaigns, and enrollment events aimed at increasing REACH Program awareness and membership.


                    

DELIVERY

  • Develop and implement partnership, membership growth, and stakeholder engagement strategies that contribute to the achievement of REACH Program targets and KPIs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnership opportunities across the public, private, and development sectors to expand program reach and create sustainable value.
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, stakeholder engagement outcomes, and program activities against agreed deliverables, reporting variances and recommended actions.
  • Conduct research, environmental scanning, and stakeholder analysis to inform decision-making, support innovation, and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Design and execute evidence-based membership acquisition and retention strategies that drive sustainable, measurable growth in program enrollment.
  • Plan and lead community outreach campaigns, health promotion events, and enrollment drives 
  • Monitor outreach and enrollment data, producing regular performance updates and actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Anticipate and proactively address operational, stakeholder, and program-related challenges, recommending and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the REACH Program budget, ensuring expenditure is aligned with approved plans, resources are optimally deployed, and financial accountability is maintained.
  • Prepare and submit timely, accurate program reports, performance dashboards, and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making at all levels.
  • Ensure full compliance with organizational policies, partnership commitments, program standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop full-time staff and ad-hoc field personnel, setting clear performance expectations and conducting regular performance reviews.


                         Targeted Specialized Knowledge  

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA), Health Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile, etc.) is desirable.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive experience in project management, healthcare program management, business development, partnership management, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, NGOs, donor-funded programs, insurance schemes, membership-based programs, or community health initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing partnerships with government agencies, corporate organizations, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
  • Experience planning and executing community outreach, health promotion, or membership acquisition initiatives.
  • Experience supervising and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in Hausa and proficient in written and spoken English.


Remuneration

NGN 780,000 monthly gross.
