The Talent Acquisition Officer will proactively identify and attract top-tier talent. Optimizing the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, to enhance team capabilities, enrich our culture, and directly contribute to achieving our organizational objectives. 

                                        


 Duties And Responsibilities             

 PURPOSE

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles (entry-level to mid-senior positions)
  • Implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong candidate pipeline (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, networking events).
  • Provide updates on market trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment. Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback. Support employer branding initiatives (e.g., career site content, social media campaigns).


 ENGAGEMENT

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, review job descriptions, and set realistic timelines in line with the recruitment strategy
  • Collaborate with People & Culture managers and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. Participate in new hire orientation sessions as needed.
  • Regularly update hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate quality.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, university events, and industry meetups.


 DELIVERY

  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data.
  • Assist in optimizing recruitment workflows to improve efficiency and time-to-hire.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment laws.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all hiring practices. Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate satisfaction).


             Targeted Specialized Knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Proven experience with sourcing techniques and tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

BG -4, entry Level.


Remuneration: 

NGN 120,000 monthly gross.
