Mission Objective

The Supply Chain Senior Officer facilitates the procurement and delivery of high quality products at optimal prices to meet the needs of the Clinic. He/she collaborates with vendors and internal teams to establish effective communication channels, meet delivery deadlines, resolve issues, and foster productive relationships. The Supply Chain Senior Officer is also responsible for managing the Clinic’s inventory in accordance with established procedures to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
PURPOSE
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to the movement and management of goods or services.
- Forecasting demand and supply, and ensuring that products or services are delivered to user departments within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Inventory management of goods supplied, inventory inspections, defects reporting and issuance monitoring to relevant departments.
- Complete documentation/inputs on key elements to execute transactions in the provision of services in the Clinic.
- Identify and recommend Suppliers and compile data/documents to support the selection and proper on-boarding.
- Research, collate and analyze data to produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on purchases and departmental spend.
ENGAGEMENT
- Responsible for conferring and coordinating with other departments regarding all procurement matters
- Collaborate Clinic staff to ensure orders are filled properly
- Explain provision of service to ensure clarity and comprehension by the user departments.
- Notify user departments of service regarding the delivery of the transaction/service
- Develop and maintain end-to-end relationships with internal and external customers to support the alignment of procurement activities
DELIVERY
- Process and Sequence deliverables/services efficiently to support provision of unit services in line with service standards.
- Review and file vendor contracts, schedule deliveries and timely tracking of shipments
- Maintains important documents, files, and records in an organized manner.
- Check delivered loads to ensure accurate inventory, receives and updates inventory
- Maintain safe and ethical practices in compliance with applicable regulations.
Targeted Specialized Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management & Technology, Supply Chain or any management related field of study
- A minimum of two (2) years experience
